The two-day event with its focus on alternative asset classes and -strategies is the annual meeting of the AI-industry in Germany where institutional investors which is the main target group , but also asset managers, regulators and service providers have the opportunity to exchange views on and experiences with AI. At the past conferences, topics such as the world of Insurance Linked Securities, options of infrastructure investments and capital-efficient investments in renewable energies, global mega trends and their effects on the Private Equity environment, risk management approaches for Alternative Investments as well as AIFMD and Solvency II were discussed. In 2016, we will again offer an interesting agenda with contemporary issues with regard to Alternative Investments. Key note speakers in 2016 are: Prof. Dr. Bernd Raffelh schen, Director Institute of Public Finance, Albert-Ludwigs-Universit t Freiburg, Prof. Marcel Fratzscher, Ph.D., President, Deutsches Institut f r Wirtschaftsforschung (DIW Berlin) und Jutta Kleinschmidt, winner rallye Dakar & author. Institutional end investors (insurances, endowments, pension funds, Versorgungswerke, single family offices) report in the investors' workshop about their experiences with Alternative Investments. The participants, which are solely institutional end investors, have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and discuss within the group. Our established investors' dinner which takes place April 12, 2016 in an exclusive location together with a key note speaker is a further opportunity to intensify the dialogue amongst each other.
